Christmas Eve we will be closed at 3:PM and not reopen for regular business until Monday January 3, 2000.
Exchanges for correct ring size are made in most cases at no charge if returned within 90 days of purchase. Send the ring back to Walker Metalsmiths and we will adjust the size or exchange the ring for another size and send it back to you by standard UPS or by US Post Office. Items may be returned for refunds within 45 days of purchase.
You pay the cost of returning the ring to us and we pay the cost of returning it to you, unless you want Express shipment in which case please enclose payment.
Gold rings that move to a different price bracket because of new size may involve a new charge or a refund depending on the size. For example Josephine's Knot ring R1 in 14 K cost $225 from size 4 to 8, $250 from size 8.25 to 10.75 and $290 from 11 to 15. If you exchanged a size 7.5 for a 8.5 the price of the ring would go from $225 to $250 and your additional cost would be $25. In the same way if you exchanged a size 8.5 for size 7.5 you would get a $25 refund.
You do not need to contact us before hand to make a return or exchange. Please follow the following simple procedure:
1. Package the item in a box or padded envelope and return it to Walker Metalsmiths, 1 Main Street, Andover NY 14806 by Post Office, UPS, Federal Express or any other reliable carrier.
2. Enclose a copy of the invoice or a note with the invoice number saying what you are returning and what you want us to send you along with the address we should send it to. If the item was a gift and you do not have the invoice please tell us who gave it to you. This helps a lot with our internal record keeping. Please enclose this note even if you have also called and talked to someone or have e-mailed your instructions.
3. Insure the package for its full value.
Most exchanges are handled within 48 hours.
Refunds on purchases made on credit cards must be made as credit charged back to the same account. We cannot refund by check or money order unless that is the way the purchase was originally paid.
